I have successfully completed my 10-week summer long internship at Bridal Culture NYC, located in Brooklyn NY. 

As a communications intern, I worked under my supervisor, where I assisted her in tasks that needed to be completed for the company. This included finding leads to blog posts and brainstorming ideas for events. 

In part of my internship, I was also able to gain experience and educate myself with the culture of the wedding event planning industry. I took trips into the city to view various bridal boutiques and view their dressed to gain an insight into the bridal dress world. I also was able to view venues to be able to get a better understanding of specific features a bride may want when searching for her perfect venue. 

 

My internship at Bridal Culture NYC gave me the upfront experience of the entire wedding planning industry. 

In my internship, I was able to learn the many aspects and details that go into planning a wedding. From the invitation designs to the dress shopping. 

 

Throughout my internship, I was able to learn about planning a wedding, but I was also able to learn the insight in being apart of an event company. I was able to work on my writing with posting for blogs on the Bridal Culture website and brainstorm upcoming events that would be offered to brides.
